Support Group for Parents

"Family Harmony by the Fireside," a supportive parent group, run by Michael Risdon, LPCC, that’s committed to fostering open communication, establishing healthy boundaries, and enhancing understanding among family members through active listening. Our proactive approach ensures that challenges are addressed promptly, promoting stability and well-being within the family unit.

We recognize the influence of external factors on social and emotional stability and provide strategies to mitigate their negative impact. By identifying and addressing these influences together, we empower families to navigate through difficulties more effectively.

Through collaborative efforts and professional guidance, we assist families in restructuring dynamics, fostering positive changes that strengthen relationships and promote overall harmony. Join us at Family Harmony Hub by the Fire and embark on a journey towards a more cohesive and resilient family bond.

Tuesdays 6:00pm-7:30pm June 4th through July 2nd, 2024

Multi-Culture Group for Teens ages 15 and up

A therapy group designed for adolescents who are navigating a dual-culture world. Mental health services can be inaccessible to those coming from different backgrounds as it’s not the norm to treat or even acknowledge mental health. We won’t let these stigmas hold us back! Run by MC+W clinician, Alexis Viciedo, this group aims to process what it’s like living in a culture outside of your norm as well as tips and tricks on navigating American Culture!
