MA/MS/MSW

Job Objective

  • To observe, support, and learn how to execute ethically and therapeutically substantiated assessment, diagnostic, and intervention services to individuals, families, and/or groups performed.

  • To gain the clinical, professional, administrative skills necessary to become a successful clinician.

  • To complete the minimum requirements set forth by the Intern’s school and by the State of Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA).

Job Objective

  • Attend group clinical supervision/ team meetings.

  • Attend individual supervision meetings.

  • Attend other scheduled clinical/administrative skill development trainings.

  • Observe individual/family/group sessions before starting with individual clients.

  • Work with clients in individual/group settings.

  • Maintain appropriate documentation and submit paperwork in a timely manner.

  • Ensure internship paperwork for school and MCW is completed in a timely manner.

  • Coordinate mentorship meetings with clinical mentor.

  • Assist in maintaining a professional clean and well-organized work environment.

  • Seek out supervision when needed.

  • Participate in networking meetings and events.

  • Abide by ethical and legal standards set forth by DORA, MCW, graduate school, and professional organization.

  • Internship offer is contingent upon successful completion of practicum requirements.
