MA/MS/MSW
Job Objective
To observe, support, and learn how to execute ethically and therapeutically substantiated assessment, diagnostic, and intervention services to individuals, families, and/or groups performed.
To gain the clinical, professional, administrative skills necessary to become a successful clinician.
To complete the minimum requirements set forth by the Intern’s school and by the State of Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA).
Job Objective
Attend group clinical supervision/ team meetings.
Attend individual supervision meetings.
Attend other scheduled clinical/administrative skill development trainings.
Observe individual/family/group sessions before starting with individual clients.
Work with clients in individual/group settings.
Maintain appropriate documentation and submit paperwork in a timely manner.
Ensure internship paperwork for school and MCW is completed in a timely manner.
Coordinate mentorship meetings with clinical mentor.
Assist in maintaining a professional clean and well-organized work environment.
Seek out supervision when needed.
Participate in networking meetings and events.
Abide by ethical and legal standards set forth by DORA, MCW, graduate school, and professional organization.
Internship offer is contingent upon successful completion of practicum requirements.
